Each MAHA Treasures pashmina scarf and other goods are delicate heirlooms, handmade in Nepal from the softest natural fibers. With just a little love, it will grow softer and more beautiful over time.
How to Care for Your Pashmina
- Opt for professional dry cleaning. Or, handwash gently in cold water using a mild, wool-safe detergent. Avoid bleach or fabric softeners.
- Air Dry Flat Lay your scarf flat to dry in the shade. Keep it away from direct sunlight or heat sources.
- Avoid Rough Handling Do not wring, twist, or tumble dry. These actions can damage the delicate fibers.
- Smooth with Care Use a steamer or a cool iron (on the reverse side) to remove creases. Always place a cloth between the scarf and the iron.
- Store Thoughtfully Fold and store in a clean, dry drawer or box. Avoid hanging to prevent stretching. Add cedar or lavender sachets to protect from moths. You can also store it in a MAHA Treasures Lokta paper box, which comes with our premium and luxe pashmina products, a beautiful and breathable way to keep your scarf safe.
Love It Longer
With mindful care, your pashmina will stay soft, elegant, and ready to wrap you in comfort for years to come.
